Academic Experience

Workshop (Bio-energy-2019) 

• Attended one week short term program on challenges in sustainable bio-fuel synthesis over conventional petro-fuel sponsored by TEQIP-II and Department of Science and Technology (DST)-government of West Bengal organized by Department of Chemical Engineering, National Institute of Technology, Durgapur (May, 2019). 

During M.Sc.: 

• Well versed with the basic concepts of polymer and their polymerization methods and techniques about biodegradable polymer, engineering and commodity plastics their processing & compounding, about different types of additives used and machinery used to blend, different type of testing and characterization techniques , about nonmaterial’s and their preparation. 

• In experiments we used different types of machines like mechanical strength testing machine (tensile, flexural, impact), MFI testing machine & biodegradable analysis of polymer in different media. 

• Technical & characterization skills: DSC, TGA, FTIR, Viscometer & Rheometer- Capillary/Parallel Plate, Microscopy- Optical [POM] & Electron [SEM], XRD, Weather meter-UV, Color Spectrophotometer and UTM for Mechanical Testing and Impact Test. 

• Compounding and processing techniques: Single & Twin Screw Extruder for Compounding, Roll Mill, High Speed Homogenizer for Resin and Liquids Mixing, Injection Molding, Compression Molding, Blown Film, Blow Molding, Hand-Lay Up, Open Mold Casting and Autoclave. 

Achievements

• Oral Presentation in 71st Annual Session of IIChE and Indian Chemical Congress, CHEMCON-2018 held on 27-30 December 2018, Dr. B.R. Ambedkar, National Institute of Technology, Jalandhar, India. 

• Oral Presentation in Bioengineering-2018 to be held on 14-15 December 2018 at National Institute of Technology Rourkela (NITR), India.
